Beautiful Day!

After the last few days of cloud and snowfall it was a very pleasant surprise this morning to draw back the curtains to not a cloud in the sky. It's cold though, -10 according to the thermometer so plenty of layers will be essential.

Over the last few days the snow has been falling steadily and although we still need more, snow conditions are pretty good and definitely sufficient for the busy weeks over Christmas and New Year.

Away from skiing, the resort is coming to life for the season start. Bars and hotels are starting to open for the season and more and more people arrive every day. We are particularly looking forward to the re-opening of the Avocado bar on the main street in Grindelwald. Can't say for sure when it will open but it will be soon.
